The distinguishing features of this collection are the incredibly beautiful design elements – starting with the vintage straps with the unique “NORQAIN stitches”, followed by the box-type glass with its origin in the 60s and the reduced dial with hand-applied indexes.

Those who wear a classic Freedom automatic watch on their wrist can feel the vibes of the 60s. Our inspiration comes from the excitement of travel and exploration, and the experience of individual freedom – all combined with our superior attention to detail.

Introducing the Independence Wild ONE, an innovative 100% Swiss-made sports watch concept featuring NORQAIN’s own ground-breaking material: NORTEQ. Together with Jean-Claude Biver and premium Swiss suppliers located within a 60-kilometre radius from NORQAIN HQ in Nidau, Norqain created a world premiere in the watch industry. NORTEQ conquers the standard black carbon fibre tint by introducing a process that creates different composite colours. This revolutionary material is six times lighter than steel and 3.5 times lighter than titanium and is presented with the Wild ONE line, which includes one limited edition piece designed together with wildlife ambassador Dean Schneider.

NORQAIN is proud to announce a new partnership with mechanical movement manufacturer, Kenissi. This collaboration between our brand and Kenissi, founded by watch brand Tudor, underscores our commitment to offering quality timepieces that feature robust, high-performance movements that are ready for your next adventure.

As part of this new strategic partnership, we are introducing two chronometer-certified Manufacture Calibres. The three-hand NN20/1 and GMT NN20/2 calibres will enhance NORQAIN’s existing collections and will be ready to equip fans on their adventures starting this coming summer.

For us, “Swiss made” is more than a designation on our watch dials. NORQAIN itself is Swiss made, and it was built on a solid foundation of family tradition. For more than four decades, our family has been creating and developing watches in Tavannes in the Bernese Jura. Now, with NORQAIN, we have united our experience and expertise – an exciting adventure for all of us. This know-how allows us to offer top-quality watches that meet the highest Swiss watchmaking standards. The fact that NORQAIN is independent means that our unique values will continue to distinguish our brand, and our customers will always be our inspiration.

At the beginning of 2020, NORQAIN announced it had entered into a strategic partnership with the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA). In honour of this alliance, we launched a limitededition Adventure Sport Chrono in October 2020 that incorporates details that dynamically link the timepiece to the thrilling sport of ice hockey. As part of this partnership, NORQAIN had a presence in the NHLPA All-Star Lounge, interacting with all 44 all-stars. And over the course of the partnership, several NHLPA players will participate in exclusive NORQAIN initiatives, and NORQAIN will also have a presence at joint events during the hockey season and in the off-season. The commitment of NORQAIN Board member Mark Streit, 2017 Stanley Cup winner and Swiss hockey legend, and Roman Josi, three-time NHL All-Star player, «Norris Trophy» winner and captain of the Nashville Predators has been a key factor in NORQAIN’s entry into ice hockey and in the establishment of this important alliance with the NHLPA.
